Product description

You can never have too much of a good thing. Satisfy your eyeshadow vice with 20 velvety, NEVER-BEFORE-SEEN shades—from an amazing soft black and a stunning burgundy to a rich, smoky red-black.

With so many different finishes—matte, satin, sparkle and even metallic (to echo the iced-out metallic look of the palette itself), this palette is made for experimentation. The shades are arranged in columns: neutrals on the left, jewel tones in the middle and smoky shades on the right. Pair up the vertically color-coordinated quads or go wild and mix them up. Our Pigment Infusion System™ gives each shade its velvety texture, rich color, serious staying power and blendability.

With Vice3, we pulled out ALL the stops. The extra slim case features hypnotic new artwork in an abstract stripe design, topped off with a bright, neon-green jeweled “Vice” icon to match the highly metallized green base. Use the coordinating bag to keep your Vice3 palette protected (and hidden from jealous would-be thieves), or as a place to store your UD brushes and other essentials.

What You Get: Truth (pale pink-nude matte), Dragon (bright metallic green shimmer), Vanity (smoky metallic eggplant w/multidimensional micro-glitter), Alien (pink-peach w/golden shift), Last Sin (champagne shimmer w/silver micro-glitter), Undone (pink-beige matte-satin w/subtle floating tonal pearl), Freeze (metallic medium blue w/multidimensional micro-glitter), Lucky (metallic bronze), Alchemy (deep fuchsia satin), Angel (light taupe w/silver micro-glitter), Downfall (warm light brown matte), Heroine (deep navy blue w/subtle floating tonal pearl), Reign (rich brown satin), Bondage (deep, smoky burgundy shimmer), Defy (smoky taupe satin), DTF (taupe matte w/subtle floating pearl), Brokedown (metallic golden brown shimmer w/gold micro-glitter), Bobby Dazzle (metallic white w/pale gold micro-glitter), Sonic (metallic red-copper) and Revolver (soft black satin w/subtle floating iridescent pearl).

Rated 5 out of 5 by Versatile & great colors! I'm really in love with this palette! I'd gotten the Vice 2 last year, which I reach for constantly, & when I saw the 3 I knew I had to have it! I'd say it's more neutral than last year's, however it still has a fair amount of colorful shades as well. It's a very versatile palette, like if you're traveling for example, this would be a great choice because there's enough to do anything from more conservative office appropriate looks, dark & smokey looks, going out looks, trendy looks for fall, & more natural looks as well. There's also a good variety of different finishes. I've noticed that for the most part, the reviews are very positive, however there are some negative, & I'm going to address the issues I've seen people discuss on here as well as other sites for those of you that are on the fence about this (I wanted to be more specific than just 'I love it!'). The first thing I've seen some say is that the shades aren't as pigmented as usual. I disagree. I personally find them to have the usual amount of pigmentation UD shadows are known for, & I haven't had to load product on to get the desired look that I want for richer, more opaque looks. Some have said they fade really fast. Again, I disagree-they've had the same staying power as usual in my experience, but for me pretty much any eye shadow does since I always wear primer, & really who doesn't use eyeshadow primer nowadays, there's good ones at every price range, everyone uses it. The second thing some have said is they find it to be drier than usual & powdery, especially the mattes. I compared the matte shades to the mattes in my Vice 2 and Naked 3 palettes, & while I can maybe see what they're saying a little bit, the difference IMO isn't all that significant. Like I've seen some go as far as to say they won't adhere to the eye, & I haven't had that problem at all with any of the shades. Now, I will say that Last Sin is pretty powdery, & doesn't have the most fantastic payoff, but applied with a damp brush, that shade looks amazing! I have not noticed any unusual amount of fallout with any of the shades either. Then finally, some have said the packaging is flimsy. While the packaging is slimmer & lighter than last year's, & it doesn't have that feature where you press the button & it opens by itself, I wouldn't call the packaging flimsy at all. I think it's nice that it's slimmer, & takes up less space. You still get the crystal Vice logo, & the large mirror. It's still packaging of a high end product. Now, I will say that I could maybe see the metallic paint getting scratched over time, but that's not a big deal to me, & there's that fabric case it comes with you can put it in to protect it if it matters to you. So for me, all in all I really love this & am very happy I got one! October 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing Selection is just one PRO I was hesitant to order this palette at the listed price, but with the friends and family event going on not only did I grab this but I got the pulp fiction palette and paid the same as if I just ordered the vice. I choose free shipping at it was here in two the day after I ordered it!!! The eyeshadows are pigmented very well, there are some subtle shades, as well as some high color knock outs. The shadows are super smooth with light to minimal fallout. I am just in love with this palette. I am adding a photo with four colors used: bobby Dazzle as a highlight,Alien as a lid highlight, bondage as a outer lid shade and Alchemy to tie it all together. October 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love love love! I've been waiting for Urban Decay to make a wearable every day red eyeshadow, and was pumped to find that this palette has not 1 but 3 different reds. $60 seems pricey, but UD palettes last FOREVER so it's always worth the investment in my opinion. The colors all have amazing pigment (as usual) and the double ended brush it comes with makes doing my makeup on the go convenient since I don't have to pack a shadow brush. I was also happy to find that the Vice double ended brush is a very different brush than the double ended Naked Basics brush, so while they're both versatile, I don't feel like I have two of the exact same makeup brush. A+ as usual Urban Decay January 7, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by RED EYESHADOW!!! I can't begin to tell you how happy I am that there is finally a red eyeshadow. I've been using blush as eyeshadow forever and they are generally labeled as "not for use on eyes" which always made me a little nervous. The colors in this palette are great, the packaging looks sharp (love the little bag), and the quality of the eyeshadow is superb. As soon as I got it in the mail, I was applying it in the bathroom. Even with late afternoon, just-got-off-of-work skin (I did a quick swipe with my finger across my lid before applying) and no primer, the colors are vivid and the application was smooth. As usual, I'm in love. Keep it up UD!!! (and more reds couldn't hurt) October 1, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Second time's the charm I bought this the cay it came out, and wanted to love it...I didn't. I tried to use it two or three times, and it seemed like the fallout was terrible. I was just making a terrible mess, the shadows were just too soft for me to handle. I gave the palette to my niece in frustration. Then I started to feel like I should try it again and master it, so (yes) I bought another one! I've used it several times now without a problem, and I just love the colors! I love this palette so much that I went to eBay and bought the Vice 2 palette (I actually found it for a reasonable price)! I will be up at 1am on December 4th to purchase the Vice LTD palette! Merry Christmas to me! November 30, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This is worth it for Alchemy and Sonic alone! I own the first Vice palette and use it almost every day, so I figured this would be a worthwhile investment as well. After seeing this palette, I bought it mostly for the colors Alchemy, Alien, and Sonic because they were so unique. So far I have not been disappointed and Alchemy, as well as Sonic, are my favorites! I also appreciate that the colors are coordinated by column, which gives the palette an organized look! I also really like the case and when I compare it to my other vice palette, I don't think if feels flimsy at all (albeit slimmer than the original Vice palette). Also the bag it comes with is a plus for traveling. Overall, I am really glad I purchased this. December 15, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Vice 3 I love Urban Decay. I have 2 out of the 3 Naked pallets and another of the larger pallets. UD is the only eye shadow I use. That said I'm a little surprised at the Vice 3 pallet. The colors are great. But I feel that the shadow doesn't go on as smoothly and you have to put on more than usual. Also, the shadow seems to powder up very easily and gets a little messy. This also isn't normal for UD. Lastly usually the brushes that come with the UD pallets are excellent. This one is less than impressive. Outside of these things I like the pallet. The pigmentation and staying power is still the same. Happy to have it. Just not as happy as I thought I'd be. It did come with some great samples though! February 19, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Lovely selection of colors While this palette has a wonderful selection of colors, from a nice neutral look to a sexy smokey look and everything in between, the quality of the actual palette is pretty disappointing. For 60 dollars, sure, you get a lot of different colors and a nice little bag thing that is also apparently a make-up bag, but the actual palette is made of this cheap creaky plastic. It just doesn't feel like quality. I'm kind of afraid it'll break at any moment, so I keep it in its bag to make myself feel better. I wish they had put more effort into the actual material rather than the supposedly amazing bejeweled design (which also looks horribly cheap) and the pretty swatch of colors. October 29, 2014
