My favorite UD product, hands down.
What a wonderful product! Before finding this I struggled to find something that would hide the limited, but annoying, shine that my face would get throughout the day. Now I never have to worry about that ever again, and I've gotten over 10 friends hooked on this product, as well.
It goes on completely smooth and invisible- the only thing noticeable is the substantial loss of any shine whatsoever! It's incredible. I'm never using another product. I don't even use foundation or anything anymore- I just put this on and my look's complete (besides my UD eye makeup, of course). I absolutely love it, use it every single day, and bring it everywhere!

Don't wait to buy
This compact is awesome. It's actually very big and heavy so you get a lot of product. I work in a very demanding CNA job, alot of running and heavy lifting, so I sweat ALOT! Usually at the end of an 8 hour shift my makeup is a mess, so you can imagine how I look at the end of a 12 hour shift. I set my makeup with this before work last night and about 6 hours into my shift I just touched it up. I worked a 12 and it lasted through the entire time with just the one touch up. When I got home there was just a light sheen of oiliness. This de slick is perfect! I never thought I'd find anything that would help me. I am planning on buying a few spare just so I have it when I run out of this one.

Only used it twice but fell in love
I only got to sweep my nose and forehead with this glorious powder before most of it got used up mattifying my roommate's face for a halloween costume (which turned out brilliantly, by the way). I have fairly oily skin, not excessive, but i always get really shiny as the night progresses, and it's frustrating when you're all dolled up and want to look great in photographs but you could blind people with your skin glare, amirite?
De-slick is fantastic, lightweight, feels instantly dry and clean, and i almost almost stole it and kept it all for myself. Next time i have the budget to splurge on makeup of any kind, this powder is top of my list!

Very useful product
I love this product! My skin isn't that oily but I use this powder to set my makeup after application. I used to do it with regular skin-colored powder (I tried various brands) but I felt that my face looked over-powdered after application. But this powder works really well without making my face look powdery. Sits really well on my makeup without messing it up.
I love the packaging and the compact, but I'm not really into the powder puff. It's really flat and doesn't pick up the powder very effectively. Had to use a separate face brush to get an even application. But the product itself is very good!

Never discontinue!
I have had oily skin ever since I was a child, down side of being Italian, and have tried every mattifying product under the sun. Finally I found this after spending so much time and money on things that didn't work for me. I will admit I have at lest 3 at all times, one in my vanity, one in my purse, and a back up and sometimes one in my gym bag. I know I am addicted as I am with other UD products. This controls oil and shine all day and does not clog your pores or make you look/feel cakey or oily. I do occasionally do touch ups through out the day but it is not really all that necessary.

Great product for very oily skin!
I was skeptical of this product at first, because nothing ever helps my oily skin. I'm so glad that I gave this a shot! Before I found this product, my face was always so oily. No matter what kind of foundation I would wear, the oil would shine through within an hour or two of application. Since I started using De-Slick, my make up looks fresh all day long. And that says a lot considering I work in food service and am in a hot kitchen all day.
I think you're supposed to put this on over your foundation to "set the look", but I always put my De- Slick powder on first. Then I put my foundation on. This works best for me. I LOVE this stuff!!

Saved Me In a Pinch!
I'm pretty much in agreement about what other fans said about this fabulous product. It does what it's supposed to do, quality is excellent, packaging is UD trendy, and the compact color is my fav.
I am adding one review of a different nature. While at work the other day, I was having leftovers for lunch at my desk. I dropped a chicken thigh on my lap, skin side down and my beige pants quickly sopped up a lot of grease before I could retrieve the culprit.. I tried to blot as much oil as I could but there was no way to hide the conspicuous spot. Of course, it looked like I didn't make it to the restroom in time and had an accident.
I quickly asked around if anyone had talcum powder, chalk, flour...anything to try and absorb the oil. Aha moment: Hmmm, if De-Slick does wonders for my oily skin, it just might work. I first checked the UD site for the ingredients and the first item listed was talc! So I took out the compact and started applying Mattifying powder on the grease spot. After a few minutes, I could see the oil coming back up to the surface so I applied more powder. I kept reapplying powder every time the spot looked wet again.
After about 5 applications, the spot stayed white because of the powder and stayed dry. At that point, I went to the restroom to see if I had camouflaged the grease spot. I brushed off the powder and was shocked to find the spot GONE! There was only the slightest hint of a smudge that I noticed because I was looking for one. No one else could tell that there was a problem there earlier.
Thank you UD De-Slick Mattifying Powder! I am a true believer!!! Blind worship forever for this and many of your wonderful products!

Effective and great packaging! A must-have for those with uncontrollable oily skin!
I use this powder with the De-Slick spray and I find that with the two of them combined, I can finally control my incredibly oily skin at least for a few hours. I know you might not think it's much but this is coming from a girl who can use up an entire sheet of blotting paper (the film kind) after maybe an hour an a half after primer-foundation-regular powder. This is an amazing product for oil-control because I at least don't have to worry about my skin looking like an oily mess for 4 hours.
I'm no longer self-conscious about whether I appear "shiny" to other people because it can really lower your self-confidence. I suffered from a fairly severe acne problem when I was younger but I got it under control though. And this product did not break me out at all. It doesn't have a very particular smell but it doesn't smell BAD for sure.
I know some people complained about the size but I think the packaging is absolutely GORGEOUS. I love the gold and purple plus the cute little skull hidden on the cover. The thin puff is a nice touch but it does get dirty quite fast (that's a given though, puffs are one of the easiest applicators to look dirty). The mirror also looks great but I usually use my bigger mirror to apply. I think the one thing UD might be able to improve on the packaging would be to add a flip slot to put the puff it at the bottom of the compact. I had to keep the transparent film so that the puff and the powder doesn't have 24/7 contact. It's a little tedious but I'd rather do that.
I haven't hit pan yet but I seems like I will soon. I use about 3 swipes of the puff (one on forehead, one on nose and t-zone, one on the rest of my face). My tip would be to blot the rest of the day instead of reapplying powder to keep your makeup from caking under too many layers of powder.
It is a little pricy but hey, if it works, I'm definitely will to fork out the money no other product I've encountered have been able to do!
