I celebrate the month by inviting all my friends and family over for the carne asada!
Who is your favorite Latinx pop culture icon? The one and only reina, Selena 🌹
What is your go-to Urban Decay product and why?All Nighter Setting Spray, FTW! It keeps my makeup intact especially those late nights when you stay up singing and crying to Vicente Fernandez songs.
What is your favorite Latinx dish?Tamales, tamales and more tamales!
As a kid I spent a lot of summers at our family farm back in Ecuador. I have so many fond memories of just hanging out with cousins, going to my abuelita’s wild ragers, enduring long nights of telefunken.. agh I could go on. Despite the distance and years, my brothers and I still find a way to get the cousins together for a trip somewhere in the world and relive those memories!
Who is your favorite Latinx pop culture icon?Shakira! I still remember when I saw her on TRL after school just after she crossed over into the US mainstream. I remember being so excited to see her on MTV.
What is your go-to Urban Decay product and why?Lip Bond! I’ve got things to eat, things to do, things to calculate and I don’t have time to reapply.
What is your favorite Latinx dish?Locro with canguil, avocado and pico de gallo on top. I may be biased but the potatoes from Ecuador are unmatched!
There’s no better way than to celebrate what makes us, us! It’s a month dedicated to celebrating our culture, who I am as a person, and who my ancestors were! I celebrate by gathering with family to enjoy our delicious cuisine, and I love supporting street vendors + Latino owned businesses!
Who is your favorite Latinx pop culture icon?Omg, Selena! As a first-gen Mexican American myself, Her impact was not only in Mexico but other Latin American countries as well! I would wake up to Selena’s music on an early Saturday morning while my mom was cleaning, my sisters and I would dance to her music all the time! She was that girl!
What is your go-to Urban Decay product and why?At the moment it’s Quickie concealer! As a full coverage queen, It provides full coverage while being lightweight and breathable! Perfect for moms on the go!
What is your favorite Latinx dish?Birria, I eat it like a stew, make tacos out of it, and quesabirrias! SO DELICIOUS!
I was raised in a mixed cultured home. My mom is from Guatemala and my stepdad is from Mexico. I honor and celebrate both cultures, hallmarks, and traditions with food, history, and family gatherings.
Who is your favorite Latinx pop culture icon?Karol G- I LALALALLOVVEE her. The way she has been honoring different cultures through music and making these cultures visible through art is such an amazing thing she is doing. She has reached the hearts of so many through ALL the Americas with her amazing energy, humility, music, and personality. I haven’t adored a famous person like this since SPICE GIRLS lol.
What is your go-to Urban Decay product and why?My go to UD product is STAY NAKED FOUNDATION. This is truly my holy grail. I get so many skin compliments and get asked what foundation I am wearing and its 50WY SN FOUNDATION! Lol it’s the one foundation on the market that REALLY matches my skin tone.
What is your favorite Latinx dish?Omg this is the hardest questions by far.. I cant pick just one dish. I LOVE Sopes, Pupusas, Tacos, Red Posole, black bean tostadas, birria queso tacos.. ok this made me super hungry. MY list can go on but these are the dishes I can live on for the rest of my life.
I celebrate by being surrounded by my family, amazing food, and MUSIC! My family loves to dance. I also support Latinx small business especially here in long beach!
Who is your favorite Latinx pop culture icon?Christina Aguilera!! I always looked up to her growing up and how she celebrated both of her cultures.
What is your go-to Urban Decay product and why?Brow Blade in dark drapes. When I was younger, I overly plucked my eyebrows (yay 90s trends) and now I have some areas that just won’t grow so it helps me perfectly fill them in. Bury me with Brow Blade!
What is your favorite Latinx dish?Mexican food in general is my go-to cuisine but if I had to choose It would be Pozole. There is a place in Long Beach called Panxa Cocina that has the best Pozole, go check it out.
I celebrate my heritage by sharing Puerto Rican cuisines with my friends and family. Food is such a good way to bring people together and that's what Latinx heritage is all about.
Who is your favorite Latinx pop culture icon?JLO is hair and skin goals!
What is your go-to Urban Decay product and why?Probably the Lipbond in the shade PDA and the Vitamin C All Nighter Setting Spray! I relate because being high performance is very On Brand for me ;)
What is your favorite Latinx dish?Arroz con gandules and maduros! But honestly, I love all the food--our food is the best out there.
Listening to stories from my family from when they lived in Mexico and cooking with all the delicious flavors!
Who is your favorite Latinx pop culture icon?Selena Quintanilla is and always will be queen!
What is your go-to Urban Decay product and why?ANSS! It blends all your makeup together and truly stays all day and night if you need it to.
What is your favorite Latinx dish? It’s basic but chips and salsa are my comfort food and I joke that I have a separate stomach JUST for chips and salsa.
I celebrate my Puerto Rican heritage every day in almost every aspect of my life: from the food I cook, the music I listen to, the vocabulary I use, the decor & art in my home… It’s incredibly important for me to feel connected to my roots by staying connected to my family and going back to PR as often as I can. But ultimately, the most important way that I aspire to celebrate my heritage is by supporting and empowering LatinX women in business. We are invincible and our sazón truly is our force!
Who is your favorite Latinx pop culture icon?My favorite LatinX pop culture icon has always been JLO. Growing up, she was the only public figure I was truly able to see myself in. She leveraged the doors that other artists opened before her (Rita Moreno, Gloria Estefan, Selena Quintanilla…) and broke so many new barriers. She was the 1st ever global latin female superstar-turned-business mogul, and in her ascension to success, she constantly celebrated her heritage and latinos around the world. Because of that, she will always be an inspiration to me.
What is your go-to Urban Decay product and why?I actually have 2 that I CANNOT live without! 24/7 Lip Liner in Liar and All Nighter Setting Spray Vitamin C.
What is your favorite Latinx dish?Arroz con Pollo all day eerrrday. But I also love me some cozy yummy sancochoooo!

I celebrate my heritage by actively listening to our music, speaking our language, eating our food & going to any festivals & parades that I can!
Who is your favorite Latinx pop culture icon?Bad Bunny of course!
What is your go-to Urban Decay product and why?Arroz con gandules y pernil. YUM.
What is your favorite Latinx dish?Urban Decay setting spray!
I celebrate my heritage by never being ashamed to embrace where I come from. Celebrating the quinces and dia de los muertos with my family always brings out the love in the culture and it couldn’t make me happier.
Who is your favorite Latinx pop culture icon?Peso Pluma has easily become my favorite Latinx pop culture icon. Within such a short time he brought Mexican music back to the top with all his hits.
What is your go-to Urban Decay product and why?My favorite Latinx dish is birria tacos. It is such a perfect dish for any time of the day. The flavor is so rich and the consome with a side of rice is the perfect combination.
What is your favorite Latinx dish?My go to Urban Decay product has to be the All Nighter setting spray. That setting spray is a must in my makeup routine and it helps keep my makeup on all day. I also love to use it in between my cream products for extra protection.
Since my parents are separated, I get to celebrate on multiple occasions- I get twice as much Latinx feasts that are absolute fire. Different cooking styles but equally as delicious.
Who is your favorite Latinx pop culture icon?Bad Bunny. No questions asked.
What is your go-to Urban Decay product and why?Rice, beans and breaded chicken. It’s my death-row meal. My favorite drink is Coquito. A classic Puerto-Rican drink, especially during holiday season. It signifies the coming of Christmas. And it means “little coconut”- tastes exactly how it sounds but with a milky-vanilla-cinnamony flavor. I prefer it with Puerto-Rican rum, but you can make it virgin-style too, of course.
What is your favorite Latinx dish?I’m torn between All Nighter Setting Spray and 24/7 Liquid Inks Liner. It’s the easiest most precise eyeliner I’ve ever used, but I also cannot live without that setting spray. It can be 115 degrees in Puerto Rico and my makeup is stuck to me like a rat in a trap.
